Design of the Evaluation of the Entity
The design of the evaluation answers the question: "How are you going to evaluate the object?"
Suri and Shimizu (1989) introduce the concept of design for analysis and address the very important process of using analysis to evaluate the design of the object as it evolves and to provide concurrent design change feedback. Verma and Fabrycky (1995) demonstrate the use of fuzzy logic within the quality function deployment process for the evaluation of conceptual designs.
The seven management tools and quality function deployment are powerful tools for both evaluating the product and designing the evaluation of the product.
